The short version

  • We schedule; you train. PlanToEndure places your sessions and reminds you. It isn’t a coach or medical advice, so listen to your body.
  • Try before you pay. Subscriptions start with a free trial, and you can cancel from your account page at any time.
  • Your plan is yours. You own what you add. We only use it to run the Service.
  • The beta is a beta. Expect changes and the odd rough edge while we build.

1. The agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“PlanToEndure”, “we”, “us”). They cover your use of our website, app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, joining the beta or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 16 to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live to buy a subscription. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. The Service

PlanToEndure takes the training sessions you add, finds time for them in your connected calendar around your existing commitments and sleep window, creates calendar events for them, and sends the reminders you choose. It also offers a weekly load check and report.

We’re continually improving the Service, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove a feature you’re paying for in a way that materially reduces the Service, we’ll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

3. Health and safety

PlanToEndure is a scheduling tool, not a medical device, and it doesn’t give medical, coaching or nutritional advice. Load checks, bedtime nudges and other suggestions are general information based on the data you give us. They may not suit your circumstances.

  • Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, especially if you have a medical condition, injury or are pregnant.
  • Stop exercising and get medical help if you feel pain, faintness, dizziness or shortness of breath.
  • Endurance sports such as running, cycling, swimming, open-water swimming, rowing and triathlon carry real risks. You are responsible for deciding whether, when and how to train, and for training safely and within the law (for example, on roads and in open water).

4. Your account

Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your login details secure and tell us straight away at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to keep the Service secure.

5. Calendar and messaging

To schedule sessions you connect a Google account and allow us to read free/busy times and create and manage training events, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time, but scheduling won’t work while you’re disconnected.

Scheduling depends on the information in your calendar and the preferences you set. Check your calendar: we can’t guarantee every session will find a slot, that slots won’t clash with commitments we can’t see, or that reminders will always be delivered on time, since delivery depends on Google, WhatsApp, your phone and network.

WhatsApp messages are optional. By turning them on you agree to receive them at the number you give us. Reply STOP or turn them off in settings to stop them. Your mobile operator’s usual charges may apply.

6. The beta

While the Service or a feature is labelled beta, it may be incomplete, change without notice, have bugs, or be paused or ended. We may limit how many people can join. Joining the waitlist doesn’t guarantee an invite. If you give us feedback, we can use it to improve the Service without owing you anything for it.

7. Trials, subscriptions and billing

  • Price. The [PLAN NAME] plan costs [YOUR PRICE] per month, including any applicable taxes unless shown otherwise. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
  • Free trial. New subscribers get a [TRIAL LENGTH] free trial. We’ll remind you before it ends. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription starts automatically and you’ll be charged.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month and are charged in advance to your payment method through [PAYMENT PROCESSOR] until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. Cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Refunds. Except as required by law or stated here, payments are non-refundable and we don’t give refunds for partial months.
  • Your statutory cancellation right. If you’re a consumer in the UK or EU, you have 14 days from when your paid subscription starts to cancel and get a refund. By starting to use the paid Service during that period, you ask us to begin straight away, and we may deduct an amount for the time you used.
  • Price changes. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it’s resolved.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • break the law or anyone else’s rights using the Service;
  • access or try to access other people’s accounts or data, or connect a calendar you’re not authorised to use;
  • probe, scan or test the Service’s vulnerability, or get around its security or usage limits, except through a disclosure programme we run;
  • interfere with or overload the Service, or use bots or scrapers on it;
  • copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, except where the law allows;
  • use the Service to send spam or unwanted messages.

9. Your content

You own the training plans, notes and other information you add (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide and improve the Service for you. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for backups that expire in the ordinary course and anything we must keep by law.

You confirm you have the right to add Your Content. If you paste in a plan written by a coach or another source, make sure you’re allowed to use it this way.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, the PlanToEndure name and the seven-bar mark, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service under these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you.

11. Third-party services

The Service works with services we don’t control, including Google Calendar, WhatsApp and our payment processor. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We aren’t responsible for their availability or for changes they make that affect the Service, but we’ll work to keep things running.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we have to by law, or if your use puts others or the Service at risk. Where reasonable we’ll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first. If we end the Service entirely, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for the unused period.

When the agreement ends, your right to use the Service stops and we’ll delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 9, 10, 13, 14 and 16) continue to apply.

13. Disclaimers

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will help you reach any particular training or race result.

If you’re a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, we aren’t liable for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, for missed sessions, appointments or events, or, if you use the Service for business, for loss of profit, revenue, business or data.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and [£100].

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before it takes effect; if you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW, e.g. England and Wales], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring claims in your local courts.

If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly that way.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor business, and we’ll tell you if we do.
